Forever and A Day -
It's been a long time since I made time to update Tristan's blog and I have to appologize to all you folks that have been waiting on pins and needles for the next installment. A lot has happened since our trek to Houston to see the Astros. This week on the 29th Tristan will be 5 months old and pushing half a year. We are moving into the baby fun season and we are looking forward to Halloween, Turkey Day and Christmas/New Years. Hopefully I'll stay on top of things and those photos will show up in a more timely manner.

So Tristan is now teething as evident by all the things that he chews on and the constant zurberts. It's really fun to listen to him while he chills out on the floor or in his swing and just coos and makes spitting noises. He is really starting to become very animated and he is often smiling and laughing every chance he gets. The other day I caught him rolling over on the video camera. He rolls from side to side all the time, but the complete roll over is a special, rare occurrence.

Day care continues to be a great experience for Tristan. I think that he really enjoys being around the other kids. He really likes his teacher, Mrs. Dawn and he always has a big smile when I hand him over in the morning. We are really grateful that the experience is working out for Tristan and for the family.

Tristan isn't sleeping through the night yet, but he's getting pretty close. He is spending more time up during the day and I think the hours at Day Care really help to keep him active. He used to crash when my sister dropped him off in the afternoon, but now he likes to play in the jumparoo or on the play mat until Amber gets home.

Once she walks in the door she sits down for some good old fashion nursing and I think it's a nice time for Tristan and Amber. We are sticking with the breast milk and will start on some foods next month. We got the green light from our pediatrician to start soft foods, but Amber wanted to wait just a little longer.

Other than being a great baby, there isn't much to report. I added some great pictures so I hope you enjoy them.
